One of our 2022 Grant Recipients for $500 for exterior paint. This is the before photo.
After exterior paint grant of $500 received and home received a total restoration. This home is an excellent example of a well done historic restoration/remodel. The important elements of this house like the windows and exterior siding were restored properly versus replacement with non appropriate vinyl windows, which take the heart and soul out of a historic home.
Upland Heritage is pleased to announce that a total of $5,000 will be awarded towards the 2022 Restoration Grants. Grants up to a maximum of $1000 each will be awarded for up to 50% of the restoration or repair cost on each selected project. Since grants are awarded on a matching funds basis, this could equate to well over $182,000 invested back into Uplands’ historical structures since the program began 23 years ago.
Upland Heritage is a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging the appreciation and maintenance of historical structures built within the Upland community. Proceeds from the Upland Heritage biennial Vintage Home Tours fund this grant program to aid and support owners of historic homes that are fifty three years old and older.
